
There are different types of yoga teachers, including: Certified Yoga Teachers (CYT), Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT), Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT), Experienced-Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT), Trauma-Informed Yoga Teacher (TIYT), and Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga Facilitator (TCTSY-F). Each of these credentials are rooted in different forms of study and experience, yet are not licensed mental health providers (eg. LCSW). Please do your research in finding what works best for you.

Individual Yoga provides the opportunity to have a yoga practice that is just for you - specific to your body's wants and needs.
Group Yoga is a trauma-informed, community-based yoga practice that fosters empowerment and agency while sharing space with others.


Continuing Education offers insight into how to apply a trauma-informed approach in a yoga setting and includes Yoga Alliance CE hours.
